Annual Booster Club Golf Tourney

Cross County’s 20th annual golf tournament and fundraiser will be Saturday, July 26th at Ryan Hill Country Club with an 8 am registration and 9 am shotgun start.Register by July 19th by contacting Jarod Capler or Rachel Branting.It’s a 2-person scramble with cost of $60 which includes lunch.

King & Queen Reception

A reception for King Ken Everingham and Queen Michelle Dubas will be Thursday, June 26th at the Rose Colored Class starting at 7 PM. The public is invited.

Parade Winners

Thank you so much to everyone who rode the wave with us in this year’s Swedish Festival Parade! Many different legacies were honored by those who participated, including past royalty and attendants.

Swedish Festival

What a great festival! High temperatures and strong winds created a few challenges but many people braved the weather and enjoyed the festivities. It takes hundreds of people working hard towards the success of such a big event. Many good comments were shared by our visitors as well as local people.

Osceola Man Dies in Two-Vehicle Accident

STROMSBURG - An Osceola man died as the result of a car accident in Polk County near Stromsburg. A two vehicle accident occurred at about 4:55 PM at County Road N and 125 Boulevard, which is an unmarked intersection.

SRC Wrestling Youth Camp designed to introduce young wrestlers to the sport

SHELBY- Area wrestling programs thrive and get better year after year because of the youth programs that coaches take time to develop.This week the coach Tanner Kuhn and a few of his high school wrestlers are conducting a youth camp at the high school up in the Shelby-RC wrestling room.
