The Cross County School Board met in open and public session on Monday, July 13th with new superintendent, Josh Warren.Principal Booth reported that elementary teacher letters will go out Friday, so early next week children and parents will find out who their teacher is.

Fatal Accident on Hwy 92 Monday

On Monday, July 20th at 6:09 AM, Polk County Dispatch received a 911 call about a pickup that struck an ATV. The accident occurred on Highway 92 east of the F Road intersection. Upon investigation it was discovered that an ATV was traveling west bound on Highway 92.
