July:Osceola Community Players put on their third annual play. This one was titled “The Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery”.After 30 years as a dental receptionist, Karen Spencer retired from Dr. Ulffers’ office.

Governor Continues Recovery at Home

Governor Pillen was dismissed form the hospital on Friday, December 27th after he received treatment for injuries resulting from a horse-riding accident. He will continue his recovery at the Governor’s Residence and plans to resume his office activities next week.

THE SWANSON BROTHERS’ MASTERPIECES

E. Alex Swanson was a remarkable man. He was born in 1879 to John and Anna Swanson. At the age of 14, he had a physical handicap. From that time on, he hardly knew a day without pain.That didn’t stop him. He went through his life as a machinist and mechanic, fixing and inventing things.
