CHADRON – Sydney Roberts of Osceola, Neb., is a candidate for graduation magna cum laude at Chadron State College with a Bachelor of Arts. She graduated with a double major in psychology and criminal justice with an emphasis in forensics.

Stromsburg’s New Ambulance Arrives for Nat’l EMS Week

STROMSBURG - The brand new ambulance is in Stromsburg and ready to serve for EMS week. National EMS week is this week, May 17-23. This week honors paramedics, EMTs and pre-hospital providers.The ambulance has a brand new cot, only the second one in the state in service.

Sheriff Ladwig Named Distinguished Alumni at Schuyler

Dwaine W. Ladwig, Class of 1970, has shaped his passion for sports and his career in law enforcement around a commitment to public service. Ladwig served in the Navy Reserves from 1969 until 1975 at which time he became the Colfax County (NE) Treasurer.
