The Burlington Yard Some friends associated with west second street have prompted another look at that area. Visiting those lots on the south side of the street revealed the area to the south which old maps such as the 1906 Atlas show as a Burlington Railroad yard.

Blood Pressure Clinics

Clinics to monitor blood pressure will also be held at the Polk County Health Department in Stromsburg, every 1st and 3rd Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Walk-ins are welcome any day during office hours.

Swedish Festival

The Swedish Midsommar Festival dates are set for June 14-16. There are needs for leadership and help in several areas. The chicken/pork BBQ and parade are two places where help is needed and planning needs to start.

OSCEOLA, Neb — Twins Janna and Melinn Roberts of Osceola High School have been selected to attend American Legion Auxiliary Cornhusker Girls State June 2-8, 2024, on the campus of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. They are the daughters of Andy and Jodie Roberts.

Easter Sunrise Service

The Osceola United Methodist Church invites the community to their Easter Morning Sunrise Service, which will be held at the eastern edge of the Osceola Cemetery at 7:00 a.m. If the weather is unfavorable, the service will be held at the church.
