There are many stories of authors and artists who walk as part of their creativity.In my research just now, I googled that and got lost in reading about George Washington Carver and his faith. Even ordered a book about him. He believed walking in nature was essential for learning.

Senior Center

Library

Happening at the Library The Library will host Story Hour March, 25 at 4:00. All children between Pre-K and 2nd grade are encouraged to join us for stories, crafts and treats.The Library Book Club will be meeting March 23, at 5:00. We will be discussing Buckey by Patrick Ryan.

End of Life Planning Program

Everyone is invited to come to a Community Coffee to get your Lighthouse End of Life Planning Program When: March 18th, at Good Samaritan Osceola at 3:30 pm in the Dining Room Brenda Wiltfong, Care Transition Coordinator, St. Croix Hospice will be present to share resource.

The school board held their monthly board meeting on Monday, March 9th. The 2627 ESU 7 Special Education Contract and the 2026 NDE Future Ready Technology Profile are annual agenda items and were approved. The BOE accepted the resignations of Mr.O’Brien, Mrs. Schneider and Mrs. Kuhnel.

March events at the Stromsburg library: Midwest Covenant Home book cart on March 3, 17 and 21 from 1-2 PM Tech support at the library, bring your laptops, tablets or phones to learn Libby. Tuesday, March 11 from 11 AM to 1 PM Leprechaun Scavenger Hunt on Friday, March 13th from 10:30 AM to 12 noon.
