Blood Pressure Clinics

Clinics to monitor blood pressure will also be held at the Polk County Health Department in Stromsburg, every 1st and 3rd Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Walk-ins are welcome any day during office hours.

Monthly Mobile Pantry

The mobile pantry will be held at the Fairgrounds in Osceola on the THIRD Wednesday of EVERY month from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Sponsored by: FoodBank of Lincoln

The Weather Channel recently reported food waste as “one of the largest components in landfills AND producer of greenhouse gases”! Perhaps consumers should plan for better incorporating adequate meal portions with fewer leftovers, for better avoiding potential waste.

Osceola Lenten Luncheons

The Osceola Tri-Church Ministry association will again host luncheons on Wednesdays during the season of Lent, beginning on February 21. This year, pastors from the participating congregations will speak on the topic of “family and vocation.

Freshmen Learn First Aid

Senior Center

The next potluck at the Osceola, Senior Center will be Tuesday, March 19 at 11:30 AM. The main dish and dessert will be provided. You are welcome to bring a vegetable or salad to complete the meal. All are welcome.

Movie Night

St. Paul Lutheran in Osceola will have a movie night on Sunday, March 17th starting at 6:00 PM. There is no charge for the movie, which will be “Soul Surfer”. Anyone can attend.

Osceola Eggstravaganza egg hunt will be Saturday, March 23rd at the Osceola City Park at 11 AM. It is sponsored by Osceola Community Action Group and Tonniges Chevrolet.
