Tornado Siren Testing

Weather Awareness Week will be coming up on March 24-31. The Shelby Fire and Rescue Squad will be doing another siren drill in conjunction with Shelby-Rising City Public Schools on March 25th. There will be another test on Wednesday, March 27th, in conjunction with the state wide siren testing.

QoV Work Day

Stars, Stripes, and Stitches QoV group will be working at the SHELBYSENIOR CENTER from 9am-3pm on Saturday, March 9, 2023. Please join us for all or part of the day. Everyone is welcome to come and help make comforting and healing Quilts of Valor to honor veterans and active duty service members.

Legion Supper

The Shelby Legion Post 296 Soup Supper will be on Sunday ,March 17 at 4:00 p.m - 7:00 p.m. This is a free-will donation. Come out and support the local Veterans and thank a Veteran!

Auxiliary News

The Shelby American Legion Auxiliary met February 27th at 1:30 p.m. President Avis Rathje led the sixteen members with the flag salute, preamble, and prayer. The minutes of the last meeting were read and a treasurer reported that membership is at 93% of their goal.
