Osceola is hosting three sites for the Shelby-Rising City basketball league. The boys and girls basketball teams, along with the Osceola Youth Sports program will be hosting the concession stand for these games and are asking for donations of bottled pop, Gatorade, water, candy bars, and chips!

Smith Makes Dean’s List

HASTINGS - Hastings College has announced the Dean’s List for its fall 2023 semester. For the semester, 347 students from 20 states and 10 countries were named to the Dean’s List. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must achieve a grade point average of 3.7 to 4.

The City of Osceola will sell miscellaneous surplus library equipment at the Osceola Public Library at 131 N Main St. Cash sale only, “first come, first serve”. Computer monitors, keyboard, rolling carts, wooden shelf, office chair and pictures. Prices range from $2.00 to $15.00.

Osceola Legion Auxiliary

American Legion Auxiliary Unit #91 will meet on Thursday, January 18th, at the Osceola Legion Club at 7:00 pm. Plans will be made to finalize our January 28th soup fundraiser. Pearl Laycock is hostess.
