The First United Methodist church of Osceola will once again be preparing Thanksgiving boxes to give to members of our community. Each year the Methodist Christian Women put together a complete Thanksgiving meal, including a turkey, dressing, vegetables, potatoes, rolls, and pie.

THE PRAIRIE DOC By K. A. Bartholomew, MD How much blood flows through your joints? Would you be surprised if I told you “None”? That’s right! Inside the joint there is a clear, viscous, slippery fluid that lubricates the joint surface, but no red blood flows inside the joint.

Make safety a priority this firearm deer season Hunters across Nebraska will hit the field in droves this firearm deer season, which begins Nov. 11. When they do, safety should be top of mind.
