White Cross is a group of ladies who meet at the Evangelical Free church to cut bandanges for a hospital in Africa. The Free Church of America has supported a medical mission in the heart of the nation of Africa for 100 years.

Should State Funds Be Used for Memorial Stadium Updates?

CAPITOL VIEW There has been no formal request, but speculation runs high that the University of Nebraska- Lincoln Athletic Department may ask for funds to help with the planned $450 million renovation of Memorial Stadium.

Immunization Clinics

The Polk County Health Department will hold immunization clinics at the Polk County Health Department, Osceola, NE, on Monday, November 20, 2023, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Flu shots are available. An appointment is required.

Behnken Wins Week 10

Lori Behnken is the winner of week 10 missing only five games. Missing just six were Mark Erhart and Ellie Pinley. The Arizona over UCLA upset was only picked correctly by a handful of people. Many also picked Minnesota over Illinois incorrectly, but the Fighting Illini pulled out the 27-26 win.
