Chamber Welcomes Beauty On Demand Esthetics

After remodeling the building, Emily Pogue opened Beauty on Demand Esthetics on the square in Stromsburg in late August. She has been an aesthetician for over four years, first in Omaha. She went to Xenon School in Omaha for esthetics.

By Brent Hollinger Hard to believe this, but Quarter 1 will be in the books by the end of this week (October 13th). We have had a GREAT start to the school year. Great kids, great staff equals a GREAT school!

Blood Pressure Clinics

Clinics to monitor blood pressure will also be held each Tuesday or the month. They will be held at the Senior Center and rotate between each town in Polk County. 1st Tuesday - Osceola 2nd Tuesday - Shelby 3rd Tuesday - Stromsburg 4th Tuesday - Polk

Robotics Results

The VEX robotics teams traveled to Gross Catholic in Omaha for Robocalypse. Results for team 5155W, Gage Walker and Bradley Lott, made it to the first round of elimination. Team 5155A Dane Holtzen, Andrew Dubas, Brett Williams, and Mason Lindburg were runners up!
