Library News

Join us at the Osceola Public Library for a special Homecoming Story Hour on August 30th from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. We will have stories, crafts, and snacks for children PreK through 2nd grade. Come join the fun!

The Osceola Methodist Christian women will be hosting their annual Homecoming Bake sale and lunch stand on Friday, September 1 at the Osceola Civic Center. Serving will begin at 9 AM and continue until sometime after the homecoming parade.

The Swedish Festival King Dan Cramer and Queen Sandy Thompson along with their attendants Charlie Palik, Cora Blex, Lazarus Bell and Yaeger Glause participated in the Columbus Days Parade on Sunday, August 13. It was the first time out since the Festival and it was a fun day.

Reception for Teresa Ball

Aretirement celebration in honor of Teresa Ball will be held Sunday, September 17th at 4 PM at Buckley Park pavilion. Teresa Ball has had childcare in her home for 41 years! Families who have been in her care are encouraged to attend.

AWANA and His Kids

The Stromsburg Awana Club begins their 43rd year on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 6:30 – 8:10 p.m. at the Stromsburg Evangelical Free Church. Boys and girls from Kindergarten through sixth grade are invited to participate. Older students who have been through AWANA are welcome as helpers.
