The Polk County Historical Society is planning a quilt and art show for Sunday, September 10th starting at 2 p.m. If you have some local art or historic/antique quilts, please let Fran Wieseman know. The quilt with Osceola history will be on display.

Burritt Benefit a Success

The benefit held for Dave Burritt on Sunday, August 13th was a success. A large crowd came to the Osceola Fire Department for lunch to support the “voice of the Bulldogs.” Complete with a dunk tank, silent auction, and face painting, the community all came together for the cause.

Blood Pressure Clinics

Clinics to monitor blood pressure will also be held each Tuesday of the month. They will be held at the Senior Center and rotate between each town in Polk County.

Bake Sale & Lunch Stand

The Osceola Methodist Christian women will be hosting their annual Homecoming Bake sale and lunch stand on Friday, September 1 at the Osceola Civic Center. Serving will begin at 9 AM and continue until sometime after the homecoming parade.

of The Osceola Record TEN YEARS AGO August 15, 2013 The Osceola High School will host their sports drink scrimmages on Friday, August 23. The volleyball scrimmage will be at 6:00 p.m. and the football scrimmage will be at 7:00 p.m.

Dawg Daze Parade Registration Osceola Dawg Daze will be August 27th to September 1st. OHS homecoming will be September 1st. Register for the parade by contacting Mrs. Baloun. The theme is Disney. A Google form is available.
