Anational view: When one door closes, another one opens … a hopeful, encouraging statement commonly offered in condolence to an undesired outcome. Great concept, except this is not the reality for the nursing home industry.

EVERY PROJECT HAS A STORY

When Jeff Ball retires this summer, he will have reached a career milestone: 45 years of service as a lead engineering technician with the Upper Big Blue Natural Resources District. This achievement is somewhat unexpected, considering it’s a job he never applied for.

Shelby-RC Announces Girls’ Wrestling Co-Op

Shelby-Rising City School has announced a girls’ wrestling co-op. The school board voted for a co-op for girls’ wrestling with East Butler and David City, just like the softball co-op. This is a 2-year agreement and will be re-assessed after that.
