The United Methodist Church Women’s group will offer a lunch n the church’s fellowship hall from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. during Stromsburg’s City Wide Garage Sales. Come eat and avoid the heat while you relax in our air-conditioned fellowship hall!

Willits Family Reunion

The 74th Willits Reunion picnic was held on June 25, 2023 in Buckley Park. Good food and sweet conversations were shared by a smaller group than normal. This year there were 27 who attended. Grant and Mildred Willits’descendants: Kevin, Melody, Chloe and Noah Sandell.

Blood Pressure Clinics

Clinics to monitor blood pressure will also be held each Tuesday of the month. They will be held at the Senior Center and rotate between each town in Polk County.

Stromsburg Chamber

City-wide garage sales on July 8th. Forms available at banks. Disc golf will be July 8th at Buckley Park. Register at discgolfscene. com Market on the Square will be July 8th. Watch Facebook for registration information or contact the chamber.

Booster Club Golf Tourney

The 18th annual golf tournament and fund raiser will be Saturday, July 22nd at Ryan Hill Country Club in Osceola. Registration begins at 8:30 AM with shotgun start at 9 AM. It’s a two-person scramble with flag and game prizes.

Harmony Nursery Customer Appreciation

Harmony Nursery and Day Lily Farm is having Day Lily Days from July 5th to 22nd. The peak bloom time is the second week in July. They are hosting a customer appreciation on Friday July 7th from 2 to 5:30 p.m. TheAnna Street Trolley will have ice cream.

Lost and Found
