Sandra and Dave dated through high school and after graduation she moved to Lincoln to attend Southeast Community College to get an associates degree in accounting. While in college she worked in the business office of Ben Simon’s, at the Gateway mall, as an accountant.

Booster Club Golf Tourney

The 18th annual golf tournament and fund raiser will be Saturday, July 22nd at Ryan Hill Country Club in Osceola. Registration begins at 8:30 AM with shotgun start at 9 AM. It’s a two-person scramble with flag and game prizes.

Tractor Pull Results

The tractor pull had 93 participants in all. First, second and third place winners all qualify for the State Tractor Pull at the Nebraska State Fair. Tractors provided by Gabriel’s PullingAngels of Fullerton.

Swedish Festival

What a great weekend! The many guests that came to enjoy the festival had positive comments about the activities, food, friendly reception they experienced, the beautiful town square, and so much more. Lots of people helped make the Stromsburg Midsommar Festival run smoothly.

Gresham Man Gets Sentenced

YORK – Benjamin Rhodes, 20, of Gresham has been sentenced to probation and jail time in a case where he fled from York County Sheriff’s deputies. According to court documents, a deputy with the York County Sheriff’s Department was on routine patrol on Highway 34, near Highway 69.
