Osceola Residents Encouraged to Clean Up

The City of Osceola recently passed an updated Nuisance Ordinance. The South Central Economic Development District, Inc. (SCEDD) has been designated as the Nuisance Officer for the City of Osceola. Beginning this spring, SCEDD will conduct a windshield assessment of properties in Osceola.

There has been a change in the Boys’ State representative. Matt DeMers is now attending. He is a junior at Osceola Public Schools. He is active in football, basketball, band, speech, one-act, quiz bowl, student council and National Honor Society.

College Graduates from Polk County

NORFOLK – The year 2023 marks a milestone at Northeast Community College. On Friday, May 12, the College held its 50th commencement ceremony to celebrate the success of its graduates.

Immunization Clinics

The Polk County Health Department will hold immunization clinics at the Polk County Health Department in Osceola on Wednesday, June 14th, 2023 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and Monday, June 19, 2023 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. An appointment is required for compliance to the COVID directives.
