National Day of Prayer Breakfast

Stromsburg’s annual National Day of Prayer Breakfast will be held at 6:30 a.m. May 4, at the Viking Center. No advance tickets are necessary; there will be a freewill offering at the door. Ross Berck will be the speaker for this year’s event. Ross has lived most of his life in the Stromsburg area.

Stromsburg EMS Bike Rodeo

The Stromsburg EMS is having a bike rodeo on Saturday, May 6 from 9-11 a.m. at the fire barn. There will be bike and helmet inspection, food and drawings for prizes. Prizes will include four bikes! This event is free and all bike riders are welcome (no age restrictions).

Presentation on Quilts

The Good Samaritan Society of Osceola invites you to attend “No Time On My Hands”, a presentation on the quilting life of Grace Synder, by Charlotte Endorf. Grace was a Nebraskan who lived to be 100 and spent her extra time making quilts.

Centennial will have early dismissal at 2:30 on Friday, April 28th for Teacher Inservice. Centennial NHS Induction Ceremony will be Monday, May 1st at 6:15 p.m. and Honor’s Night for grades 6 – 12 at 7 p.m. Monthly Senior Dinner will be Monday, May 1st at noon at the Community Center.
