FFA Members Demonstrate for the School Board

Riley Carter (left), Alexa Carter and Aubrey Siffring gave the board a demonstration of the FFA presentation they will give next week at the FFA State Convention. The group showed the process for in vitro fertilization.

An End to Property and State Income Tax?

Brenda Bickford, a member of the EPIC Option Strategy Team, will present the EPIC Option Tax proposal in Stromsburg on Monday, March 27, 2023. The proposal would essentially replace the state income, sales and property taxes with a consumption tax at about 7 percent. The meeting starts at 7 p.m.

Dancing with the Community Stars Competition

The Osceola Community Players present...Dancing with the (Community) Stars! On April 1, 2023, the Osceola Community Players will host a “Dancing with the (Community) Stars” competition at the Osceola Auditorium to fundraiser for this June’s show.

CRC Honor Band & Choir

Osceola students went to Nebraska Lutheran on Monday for conference honor band and choir. Participating were Matt DeMers, Kierra Rutter, Rihanna Ortiz, Braylon Peterson, Bransen Lavaley, Melinn Roberts and Hayden Lavaley.

State Speech

It was a good day for Osceola Speech. We had 7 kids that participated in 6 events. All participants competed and performed very well. Liam White in Extemporaneous speaking and Sadie Sterup in Program Oral Interpretation (POI), which is a new event to the State Meet and class D1 this year.
