SRC Students Getting Ready for Holiday Concerts

SHELBY — Shelby-Rising City students are preparing for the holiday season. This year's Winter Concerts will be Monday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. for students in grades 6-12 who are in the band and choir. Then on Thursday, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m.

SRC Students Visit Shelby Senior Center

Shelby Rising City Student Council members and Life Skills students have been busy visiting the Shelby Senior Center. On Sunday November 13th the Student Council participated in “Game Night” at the center. Attendee’s enjoyed a wild night of Train Dominoes.

Library News

The Shelby Community Library is having Santa Claus on Wednesday, December 7th, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Don’t forget to bring your camera! This will be a great opportunity to take your Christmas card photos by the fireplace. FREE REFRESHMENTS will be served.

uild St. Anne's Guild Christmas potluck lunch will be Thursday, December 1st at 12:30 p.m. at the Shelby Legion Club. Guild members please bring a potluck dish. Guests may be invited. Rolls, dessert and table service are provided. Circle 4, Bev Gillespie and Sue Smith are in charge of the event.

Senior Center

Immunization Clinics Dec. 14, 19

The Polk County Health Department will hold immunization clinics at the Polk County Health Department in Osceola on Wednesday, December 14th from 1:30 to 3:30 and Monday, December 19th from 3:30 to 5:30. An appointment is required for compliance to the COVID-19 directives.
