Shelby Library Summer Events

The Summer reading contest starts May 20th and ends Monday, July 13th. Prizes are awarded to everyone who participates and one person in each of three age groups gets a $100 shopping spree.Wednesdays in June will be weekly crafts and story time. The first one is June 3rd from 10-11:30 AM.

Nebraska Leads 23-State Coalition Asking Supreme Court to Uphold Mifepristone Stay

Today, Nebraska Attorney General Michael Hilgers filed an amicus brief on behalf of 23 states asking the Supreme Court to leave in place a lower court’s stay of a federal regulation that removed the longstanding in-person dispensing requirement for the chemical abortion drug mifepristone.

 TEN YEARS AGO May 19, 2016Osceola FFA State Degree Recipients were Mary Kate Steele, Bennett Nelson, Rob Buhl and Riley Girard. On April 8th they received their State Degree during the Convention at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln.
