Storm Celebrate Homecoming with Parade

High Plains students marked the end of homecoming last week with a parade and pep rally in Clarks. High Plains students enjoyed homecoming activities all week gearing up for Friday's festivities.

TEN YEARS AGO September 13, 2012 On Monday, September 10th, the Shelby Rural Fire department was dispatched to a fire at 129th road and highway 69 south of Shelby. Approximately five acres of beans and 30 acres of combined corn ground were lost, but no one was injured.

OCAG to Meet

The Osceola Community Action Group will hold their September meeting on Thursday, September 22nd at Andrea’s Family Diner, formerly the Osceola Tavern, at 12:30 p.m. Membership is open to individuals and businesses interested in our community.

Book Club to Meet

The next book club meeting at the Osceola Public Library is set for Sept. 26 at 5 p.m. The group will discuss “Big Little Lies” by Liane Moriarty.
