Hollinger To Play in Shrine Bowl

Cory Hollinger, a 6-foot 6-inch 2022 graduate of Cross County, will play for the South in the Shrine Bowl on Saturday, June 4th at 6 p.m. in Kearney. Tickets are available from their website www.neshrinebowl.org and cost $15 for general admission.

FCCLA Fundraiser Night

Cross County FCCLA is having a fundraiser night at the Stromsburg Subway on June 7th from 5-8 p.m. Get your favorite Subway meal and support the Cross County National FCCLA competitors. Ten percent of the sales will be used to cover the costs associated with competing at nationals.

Cornerstone Bank Announces Officer Appointment

The Board of Directors of Cornerstone Bank announced the appointment of the following officer in Stromsburg, at their recent meeting: Julia Owen was named a Loan Officer at Stromsburg. Julia started with Cornerstone Bank in 2012 and transferred to Stromsburg in 2019.

Register for the 2022 Earl Hedge Byleen Swedish Festival Road Race Soon

Now is the time to sign up for the 2022 Earl Hedge Byleen Swedish Festival Road Race. The race will be held this year on Saturday, June 18 of the Festival at 8:00 a.m. starting at the Stromsburg Fire Hall. The race will feature a 10K, 5K and one mile fun run.

Smorgasbord

The Smorgasbord is back! A buffet of delicious Swedish food in an authentic setting. Saturday, June 18th, 2022 Next month!! Two shifts: 11 AM to noon, or Two shifts: 11 AM to noon, or noon to 1 PM. Cost: $20 for adults, $10 for those 7-12 years, kids 6 and under are FREE.
