Morris Graduates from UNO

On Friday May 13th, more than 1800 Mavericks graduated from the University of Nebraska in Omaha, including 1,851 total Mavericks, 1,420 undergraduate degree recipients, 331 first-generation students (41% of undergraduate recipients), 416 Master’s degree recipients and 15 Doctoral degree recipients.

Next week’s events on our schedule: County pool in Shelby takes place May 23rd at 1:30 p.m. Also a blood pressure clinic from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24th with our center cards in the afternoon. Domino players gather at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

TEN YEARS AGO May 17, 2012 The Gresham Legion Auxiliary sponsored Poppy Day on Saturday in Gresham. Several volunteers distributed poppies throughout town.

On Saturday Randy and Susie Tonniges attended the high school graduation reception for Luke Schmitt in Ulysses. Cindy Schulte along with Bob and Adelle Tonniges enjoyed the Junior High and High School spring programs at Centennial for Paityn and Saige Scheele.

Gresham Alumni Banquet May 28

Gresham High School Alumni Banquet will be held on Saturday, May 28th, 2022 at the Gresham Community Center. Social time will begin at 6:00 p.m. with dinner served at 6:30 p.m. Reservations need to be made by Wednesday, May 18th, 2022.
