TEN YEARS AGO April 26, 2012 The Q125 Committee and members of the community planted and dedicated a 10-foot red oak tree. The tree was planted on the grounds of the Gresham Community Club. The planting was also done in conjunction with Arbor Day and Gresham’s 125th anniversary celebration.

Four Corners Health Department

National Public Health Week was April 4-10th. This year’s theme was “Public Health is Where You Are.” This theme highlights the fact that health is a part of every person in every community. Everyone can make a difference in how to be healthier, not just as individuals, but also as a community.

Saturday overnight guests of Gerry and Pam George were their grandchildren Kendyl and Mason George of Ceresco. High winds and dry conditions have become a norm for our area. Much needed rain would be welcome and also a help for the wildfires plaguing Nebraska.

About every mile or so along highway 81, you may have noticed these black circles with white dots in them. No, they are not space laser bull’s-eyes, satellite imaging, alien space craft landing zones or urban crop circles.
