NDCS teammates honored at annual awards ceremony

LINCOLN – The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) honored 38 team members today at the agency’s annual awards ceremony, recognizing exceptional contributions that advanced public safety, rehabilitation, and reentry throughout 2025.

 TEN YEARS AGO May 19, 2016The Board of Directors of Cornerstone Bank announced the promotion of the following officer of the bank at their recent meeting. Cindy Buhl was named Assistant Vice President of Technology at Cornerstone Bank in Stromsburg.

Woman’s Club

The Stromsburg Woman’s Club will meet on Monday, May 18, at 6:00 p.m. at the Viking Center. Kelsey Patton will lead a Swedish Conversation Class. There will be installation of officers. Carol Schlesinger will have devotions and Diane Eckertand Carol Schlesinger will be hostesses.
