Bartling & Kula Selected for Girls State

The American Legion Auxiliary of Osceola, Unit #91, selected Kenzie Bartling and Allison Kula to attend Girls’ State in June. Both are juniors at Osceola High School.Bartling is involved in volleyball, basketball, track, National Honors Society, SWAG and One-Act.

Senior Center

Activities at Osceola Senior Center for April: Bible study 10:00 am every Friday Pool and coffee every morning. Hope to see you at the center.

The Osceola Community Action Group will hold their April meeting on Thursday, April 23rd at the Osceola Civic Center at 12:30 p.m. Please join our group to help make Osceola an even better place to live and raise a family!

Osceola Fire Finishes Honorary Wall

Osceola Fire finished up the Honorary Firefighters Wall after researching department records from 1890 to 1940. The McKeever Hook and Ladder records were found thanks to Jodie Roberts who found old records that made Firefighters exempt from serving on jury duty.

Library

The Library will host Story Hour April 22 at 4:00. All children between Pre-K and 2nd grade are encouraged to join us for stories, crafts and treats.The Library Book Club will be meeting April 27 at 5:00. We will be discussing A Band of Sisters by Lauren Willig.
