    OSCEOLA - Each year the Aksarben Foundation recognizes Nebraska farm families who have consecutively owned a piece of land for 150 years as a Heritage Award, and 100 years for a Pioneer Award. Families apply in the spring, and the Aksarben Foundation works with the county board to verify lineage and historic information.
