    KEARNEY - Friday and Saturday was state speech in Kearney. Polk County did well, bringing home eight medals. The top six medal in each category.

    Overall, High Plains came in fourth in Class D2. Madi Zerr and Peyton Hofmann were awarded top individual sweepstakes honors (three people received this award and they were two of them).
