Brian Gabel passed away rather quickly recently. He was well known in the county, having lived in Osceola, had his hog business in rural Shelby and attended church in Stromsburg.
He was active in the county, attending many (if not all) of his high school kids’ events. His children were involved in softball, football, basketball, wrestling, one-act, speech, FFA and 4-H for starters.
