Cross County traveled to Hampton to take on the Hawks. The Cougar boys started well getting 19 points in the first quarter to the Hawks’ 6. The Hawks shooting went a bit better in the second, getting 11 points on the board to the Cougars 21 leaving a half time score of 40-17.
The Hawks didn’t do well in the third quarter only getting 2 points then to the Cougars 14. The Cougars finished strong with another 14 points in the last quarter and Hampton added another 8 for a final score of 68-27.
High scorers for Cross County included Haiden Hild with 14 points, including four 3-pointers; Cory Hollinger with 12 points and 6 rebounds, Shayden Lundstrom with 9 points, and Alex Noyd and James Elgin each added 8 points. Jackson Lindburg brought down another 5 rebounds.
