The Bruning-Davenport-Shickley Eagles made the trip to Cross County to meet the Cougars on Friday. The Lady Cougars began the game on a high note shooting in 15 points to only 7 for the Lady Eagles. The second quarter was a bit more even with Cross County adding 10 points and the Lady Eagles adding 9 for a half time score of 25-16.
The third quarter was very even with each team adding 8 points, which was 4 buckets for each team. The last quarter the Lady Cougars beat out the Lady Eagles with 12 points to their 4.
High scorers for the Lady Cougars were Chloe Sandell with 12 points and 5 rebounds, Shyanne Anderson with 11 points, Lilly Peterson with 8 points and 7 rebounds, and Lindee Kelley with 7 points. Josi Noble also grabbed 5 rebounds for the Lady Cougars.
