Hazardous Waste Collection Event Held

The Polk County Hazardous Waste Collection was held on Saturday at the Polk County Fairgrounds as residents were able to dispose of household hazardous items such as paint, pesticide and batteries. Many took advantage of the opportunity to get rid of these items.
