Preparations were underway for the 2012 Swedish festival. The parade Grand Marshall was Lee Nelson, who interviewed many local veterans and videotaped it with help. Those video tapes were available at the library.
Don Widga of Polk reunited with many of his Navy buddies after 53 years in Omaha on May 15th and 16th.
