Saturday June 25th will be a day to honor the oldest Civil War veteran in Polk County, William Fetters. Festivities will start at 4:00 p.m. at the Stromsburg Cemetery near his gravestone, then continue with a free will donation meal downtown and finish with a free concert with The First Nebraska Volunteers Brass Band in the square.
