The winter sports season is upon us.
Starting next week, the Polk County News will continue the Athletes of the Week feature. Each week we will select one boy and one girl who excelled during the previous week.
The new feature debuted in the fall and saw members of the area football, volleyball and softball teams recognized for their achievements on the court and field.
