Mary Alice Scholz, age 84, of Columbus, formerly of Shelby, Nebraska, passed away May 29, 2026 at Brookestone Acres in Columbus.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shelby with Father Mark Cyza officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 2 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. Rosary at the church.
Organist will be Avis Rathje. Musical selections will be “Be Not Afraid”, “Only A Shadow”, “One Bread, One Body”, and “Amazing Grace.” Interment will be in the Shelby Cemetery.
