Gary Lee Wood, 84, of Polk, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025, at CHI Health St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.Celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, Feb. 14, 2025, at Polk Community Hall. Justin Smith will officiate. Inurnment will be held in the Polk Cemetery.

Central City. Joyce was very proud that her marriage to Richard lasted for over 73 years until his death in 2021. Joyce was a farm wife and caretaker of her family while also helping out on the farm for most of her adult life.

Jac E ‘Jaci’ Lou Johnson, age 73, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away January 28, 2025 at Bryan East in Lincoln.A private family memorial service will be held at Dubas Funeral Home in Stromsburg at a later date.Jaci was born April 8, 1951 in Stromsburg to Fred K. and Lucile (Johnson) Johnson.

Elaine Kathleen Westring, age 94, of Stromsburg, Nebraska passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025 at her home surrounded by family.A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church in Swede Home followed with a luncheon at the church.
