Grant Lavern Miller, age 48, of Stromsburg, Nebraska, passed away February 22, 2024 at Bryan East Medical Center in Lincoln. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 26, at 10:00 a.m. at the Stromsburg Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Brill officiating.

Paula A. Boye

Paula Arlene Boye, age 67, of Columbus, Nebraska, passed away February 22, 2024 in Columbus. A private family service will be held at Dubas Funeral Home in Stromsburg. Paula was born June 3, 1956 in Stromsburg to Everett James and Leona Marie (James) Noyd.

Judith Beatrice Bryan, age 84, died Thursday, February 1, 2024, at the Good Samaritan Society in Osceola, Nebraska. Graveside services will be held on February 23, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. in the Osceola Cemetery.

Michael D. Voss

Michael Dean Voss, age 74, of Shelby, Nebraska, passed away February 9, 2024 at Annie Jeffrey Memorial County Health Center in Osceola. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 12, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Shelby Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Andrew Litt officiating.

Norman E. Euse

Norman Edwin Euse, 83, of Silver Creek, NE passed unexpectedly on February 10, 2024, at Genoa Hospital. Services will be as follows: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 14, from 4-6pm at St. Lawrence Church with a 6 o’clock vigil.

Shirley A. Johnson

Shirley Ann Johnson, 80, of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, passed away January 30th, 2024 at her daughter’s home. Shirley was born April 18th, 1943 in Osceola, Nebraska. She graduated high school in 1960 from Osceola.

Gary Pierson

Gary Pierson, age 79, passed away February 1, 2024 in Townsend, MT. He was born November 3, 1944 in Stromsburg, NE, one of a set of triplets. He lived in Stromsburg most of his life . He was a fireman for many years, a scout leader, an avid hunter and fisherman.

Alice Mae McLean, age 89, of Stromsburg, Nebraska, passed away January 30, 2024 at Annie Jeffrey Memorial County Hospital in Osceola. Memorial services will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 10:30 a.m.

Donald “Donnie” Irwin Peterson, age 83, passed away Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Osceola Good Samaritan Society. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Stromsburg Cemetery with Rev. Andrew Springer officiating.
