Cole Jonathan Pensick, age 32, of Columbus, Nebraska, passed away April 8, 2023 as a result of an automobile accident. Memorial services will be held Friday, April 14, 2023 at 10 a.m. at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 3921 20th Street, in Columbus with Father Joseph Miksch officiating.

Mary Lou Sandell, age 85, of Lincoln, went to be with the Lord after suffering a massive stroke on Thursday, April 6, 2023.  She was born on April 18, 1937, the daughter of Elwood and Velma Sandell in Polk, Nebraska.  She graduated from Polk High School in 1958.

Larry Gale Waller, 78, entered into rest on April 2, 2023. Mr. Waller was born Jan. 13, 1945 to Ernest and Florence (Fillinger) Waller in Stromsburg, Nebraska. Larry graduated from Shelby High School.

Leah Janelle Lindquist, age 57, of York, Nebraska, formerly of Stromsburg, passed away March 30, 2023 at her home in York. A graveside memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Stromsburg Cemetery with Pastor Mike Brill officiating.

Larry Waller

Larry Waller of Tucson, Arizona passed away on Sunday,April 2nd, 2023 at the age of 78 years old after a courageous battle with cancer. Services will be held in Tucson and local burial and memorial will be this summer.

Mary Rose Schmid died peacefully Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Meridian Gardens Assisted Living in Columbus. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. on Monday, April 3 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Bellwood with the Rev. Ben Holdren celebrating the mass. Visitation is on Sunday from 2-4 p.m.
