Larry James Anderson,78, passed away May 7, 2022 in Lincoln. He was born in Stromsburg on Feb. 16, 1944, the son of Carl A. and Pauline Anderson. He attended Stromsburg public schools, graduating in 1961. He served in the U.S. Air Force and lived in Michigan and Wisconsin for many years.

Janis K. Schmieding, of Utica, was born on February 3, 1952 to Ralph and Helen (Svoboda) Hoelting in Hastings, Nebraska.   Janis passed away on March 8, 2023 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 71 years, 1 month and 5 days.   She attended Lawrence High School graduating in 1970.
