The Mayflower landed in December 1620 after spotting Cape Cod about November 9, 1620. The first Thanksgiving wasn’t until about a year later, autumn of 1621. The pilgrims and the Wampanoag people celebrated the harvest and surviving the first year. The feast lasted three days.
