It’s a Priority

This session of the Legislature saw the introduction of more than 800 bills. While not quite a record for the number of bills introduced, it was pretty close. I was on the low end among my colleagues, having only introduced 8 bills myself. I designated LB584 as my priority bill for this session.

Why Do We Change?

My kids love to dance. All four of them. Calvin, when he was a baby, would do a hilarious “Happy Dance.” Over time that dance went away. Recently I was at home in our apartment above the PCN Worldwide Headquarters and the kids wanted to do a video on YouTube.

March is women’s history month. Nebraska has made its own mark on women’s history. Most notably in my lifetime when two women ran against each other for governor. We were the first state to have two women run in a gubernatorial election in 1986.
