ALAN’S ANECDOTES I grew up in northwest Indiana and didn’t visit Nebraska until I was in junior high. I wish I could remember more about the trip. Memory is a funny thing. There are so many things I wish I could remember, and so many things I wish I could forget.

A Next Step for All Americans

The President’s Failed Economy

REPRESENTING YOU Last February, I stopped by a coffee shop in central Nebraska. A cozy community hub, the shop was known for its great coffee and fantastic food and pastries. A variety of Nebraskans sat at tables or in circles of family and friends with coffee in hand.

Serving My Church Family

BETH’S BITS This weekend was Stromsburg Baptist Church’s 150th anniversary. Two former pastors came back and shared memories. It was a time of reflecting on memories. There were many photos from the past, of former pastors and buildings. It was much like a class reunion.
