What Other People Do

Half of what I do is below average. At least, it’s below my average. The key is to always be improving so most of the new things I do are above average. Life gets busy and deadlines come and go.

So next week my daughter has a birthday. She says it’s her “golden birthday”. Now I know what a golden anniversary is, that’s your 50th wedding anniversary. But what is a golden birthday? Well, that’s when you turn the age that the day of the month your birthday is on.

New Year, New Congress

In the second gulf war in Iraq there was an Iraqi official named Muhammad Saeed al-Sahhaf, but he was better known in the US as Baghdad Bob. He was the Minister of Information. During the war he gave press conferences and talked about how well Iraq was doing against America and our allies.

It’s a New Year and There’s a Whole Lotta New Going On

Welcome to 2023, a new year with a whole lotta new going on at the State Capitol. There’s a new governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, auditor and 14 new state senators assuming leadership roles in the Republican dominated Nebraska government. There will be a new U.S.
