Summer COVID Update

Four Corners is adding vaccine clinic options to meet the needs of the community. The new schedule includes two days each week for offering the COVID-19 vaccine and begins on July 6th: Wednesday, 12PM to 4PM. Pfizer vaccine will be available for children 6 months to 11 years old.

Reader Has Issue with Potholes

Too Many Villains Out There

Last week I talked about local heroes and the need for heroes. This week I want to talk about villains. I expected to get feedback that I was too liberal with the definition of hero. The argument goes that we should be careful to reserve that title for the most courageous and virtuous among us.

What’s going on in Ag? Have you been noticing tall weeds with umbrella-like white flowers in pastures, ditch banks and along the roadsides? It may be poison hemlock and be careful as it is poisonous to livestock and people. I have been received several calls about this particular weed.
