LB14 granted Nebraska employees the ability to earn and use paid sick leave.

The Legislature this year considered and passed LB415, which clarified many aspects of the ballot- initiative approved by voters this past November that granted Nebraska employees the ability to earn and use paid sick leave.

ANOTHER MILESTONE

A few weeks ago, I wrote about the Scopes Monkey Trial that took place one hundred years ago. Last weekend we hit another milestone in that story. It marked the one hundred year anniversary of the death of William Jennings Bryan. After winning the trial, he died a few days later.
