I’m walking through the store the other day with Charlie and all the sudden I hear a whistling sound.I look to my right, nothing. I look to my left, still nothing.I shrug it off thinking I am getting a little over-stressed heading into the holiday season. I continue with my shopping.

Holidays are for FamilyThe holidays are for getting together with family. We spent Thanksgiving weekend in Indiana with much of my husband’s family. We ate Thanksgiving dinner and played games. Each time we go to Indiana I think I learn a new game. I generally like games and am competitive.

ALAN’S ANECDOTESEvery Thanksgiving I think of the Pilgrims. I could blame my wife for finding a Mayflower ancestor when she researched my genealogy, but it started before that. I wish I could blame Rush Limbaugh. He had a great chapter on the Pilgrims in one of his early books.
