I think I was pretty young when I was introduced toAesop’s Fables. One of the more famous ones is the story of the boy who cried wolf. In the story, a boy cries out that there is a wolf, but it was a lie. The town’s people came out to rescue him but find that there was no wolf.

Dishwasher Woes

Our old dishwasher finally gave up. It basically stopped cleaning the dishes. It still ran, but you ended up washing dishes after it was supposed to wash dishes. We estimated it to be 20 years old so figured it was time for a new one.

Legislative Session—Summary

This week the Legislature wraps up bill introduction and the rules debate. At this point we have used 20 percent of the 60 legislative days available to complete our work in this short, even year session.

Alphabetical Cats

Yesterday was a sad day. Sunday evening when I put my very old cat down off my lap, she struggled to walk. Her back legs weren’t working properly; she was limping. Monday morning, it was worse; she was dragging her back legs and rear around.
